We’re excited to share what’s ahead for our Qantas lounge network. From refreshed spaces to brand-new designs, we’re making improvements to several lounges to ensure your customers enjoy a premium, relaxing experience before they fly.

New Auckland International Lounge

Our new Auckland International Lounge will open its doors on 17 December, just in time for the busy Christmas travel period. The completely redesigned lounge precinct at Auckland International Airport sets a new benchmark for Qantas customers travelling from Auckland. Developed in collaboration with Caon Design Office, Akin Atelier, and Architectus’ New Zealand studio, the space showcases locally crafted materials sourced in partnership with New Zealand suppliers. Guests can look forward to a contemporary environment that reflects the essence of Aotearoa.

This opening coincides with Qantas’ continued growth across the trans-Tasman network, including new seasonal services between Adelaide and Auckland and the launch of Auckland–Perth flights commencing on 7 December.

Sydney International Business Lounge

Construction on the brand-new Sydney International Business Lounge kicks off this December. Set to complete in 2027, the new lounge will offer a contemporary design inspired by Sydney's natural landscapes, such as the Blue Mountains and Bondi.

Customers can enjoy a 30% increase in seating options, a refreshed food and beverage menu, and an outdoor terrace with views of the Sydney skyline. It’s all part of our continued commitment to delivering a premium experience for your customers before they fly.

From 8 December 2025, our Sydney International Business Lounge will move to a temporary space during the construction period, located near gate 24. In peak periods, customers may be reaccommodated in an alternative lounge and will be informed on the day of travel.

Refresh of the Los Angeles Business Lounge

The Los Angeles Business Lounge refresh has begun, on track to be completed by early 2026. Updates will include a new look and feel and improved seating options, offering your customers a more comfortable and contemporary space to relax pre-flight.

New Hobart Qantas Club

Plans are underway for a new Qants Club in Hobart, set to open in 2026. Inspired by Tasmania's stunning natural landscapes, the new lounge will offer substantially more space and increased seating options with runway views to welcome your customers in comfort and style.

Refreshing our Regional Lounge Network

Following the refresh of our Broome Regional Lounge, more regional lounges are set for an upgrade including Coffs Harbour, Mackay and Karratha. Commencing in February 2026, these lounges will close for a short period, re-opening with a distinct new look and modern furnishings.
