Qantas launches new international route from Auckland to Adelaide and announces Domestic Business Class Lounge for customers
The new route unlocks greater choice for customers across the airline’s expanding international network, and gives Kiwis more options to explore South Australia.
Available to book now, the new seasonal route will add more than 30,000 seats between the two cities, making it easier for your customers to visit friends and family, attend an impressive line-up of events and festivals, or enjoy the simple pleasures that make Adelaide special, from delicious food and wine to the charm of its nearby historic towns.
Qantas is also opening the doors to its first Domestic Business Lounge in Adelaide. The new lounge celebrates the best of South Australia featuring a market kitchen, inspired by the Adelaide Central Market, serving up dishes created by Qantas Director of Food, Beverage and Service, Neil Perry and lighter snack options by Maggie Beer. Designed in collaboration with Architectus, the new Domestic Business Lounge aims to capture the essence of South Australia, taking inspiration from three iconic locations; the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, Adelaide Central Markets and Kangaroo Island’s Flinders Chase National Park.
This announcement follows the exciting news announced earlier this year that a new Auckland lounge will open in 2026. These lounges mark a significant milestone in Qantas’ investment in upgrading its global lounge network and show ongoing commitment to enhancing customer experience.
To celebrate this new direct route, flights from Auckland to Adelaide are on sale now.^
