Qantas Ticketing Authority
Our ticketing authority process ensures we are:

To apply for Qantas ticketing authority your IATA must first be registered for Qantas Agency Connect (QAC) Once QAC registration is complete, you can apply for Qantas Ticketing Authority.
Download our Application Form and complete by printing and filling in manually or by completing electronically and submit with any supporting documentation to qantasticketingauthority@qantas.com.au. For multiple IATA numbers please complete one form per IATA and email each form individually i.e. one form per email request.
If you are based in Germany, please also complete the Freischaltung BSP Link - Antrag form. Please note this form is not required for Agents based outside Germany.
FAQs
This standardised application process applies to all requests for ticketing authority, regardless of where the application is made, including:
- Ticketing authority applications made by Agents that are new to Qantas;
- Agents with existing Qantas Ticketing Authority who are requesting Ticketing Authority for an additional IATA; and
- Agents requesting a reactivation of Ticketing Authority.

The bulk of applications are processed and an outcome communicated back to the Agent within 10 business days.
Note applications will be delayed if:
- the IATA number is not registered with Qantas Agency Connect (QAC)
- the application form has not been completed in full
- inaccurate information has been supplied
- supporting documentation has not been received (refer to Checklist)
- Consultation is required with local sales representatives
- During high demand periods
- Go to your local QAC site;
- Register the new IATA number for QAC
- Download and complete the Ticketing Authority form by printing and filling in manually or by completing electronically. For multiple IATA numbers please complete one form per IATA and email each form individually i.e. one form per email request
- Submit the completed form by emailing to qantasticketingauthority@qantas.com.au;
- Qantas will process your application and return an outcome within 10 business days.
Yes. Please take the following steps to reactivate ticketing authority:
- Go to your local QAC site;
- Download and complete the Ticketing Authority form by printing and filling in manually or by completing electronically. For multiple IATA numbers please complete one form per IATA and email each form individually i.e. one form per email request
- Attach your reactivation notice from IATA or MyArc (on letterhead) confirming that your ability to ticket has been reinstated;
- Submit the completed form and IATA notice by emailing both documents to qantasticketingauthority@qantas.com.au;
- Qantas will process your application and return an outcome within 10 business days.
Please note the 'reactivation' pathway will only be available for Agents who have recently held ticketing authority.
