American Airlines' new 787 touches down in Brisbane

American Airlines has brought its brand-new Boeing 787-9 to Australia, now flying the seasonal flights between Brisbane and Dallas Fort Worth until March 28. The aircraft features 51 'Flagship' suites and 32 premium economy seats. As a key airline partner, the service provides your customers with another option to fly to and from North America, adding to our Sydney and Melbourne flights to Dallas.

A380 returns to our Dallas-Fort Worth–Sydney route

As previously announced, We welcomed our Airbus A380 back to our Dallas-Fort Worth–Sydney route for the first time since 2020. The aircraft brings a boost to premium seats on the route, with our four-class cabin featuring First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy & Economy, flying between Sydney and Dallas four times a week, increasing to daily from January 2026.
