Qantas' new uniform designer

The redesign will be the first major uniform overhaul in over a decade, aligning with the Flying Kangaroo's largest ever fleet renewal program, including an additional 20 Airbus A321XLR aircraft and preparations for the launch of Project Sunrise well underway.

Earlier this year, the airline surveyed its uniformed workforce of more than 17,500 team members across key operational areas including pilots, cabin crew, engineering and airports to provide feedback on elements such as durability, functionality and comfort. Rebecca will now incorporate these insights into the next phase of the design process.

The new Rebecca Vallance Qantas uniform will launch in 2027, replacing the current design by Martin Grant, which was introduced in 2014.  Past designers of the Qantas uniform include Peter Morrissey, Yves Saint Laurent, George Gross and Harry Who, and Emilio Pucci.
