Commercial Policy for customers impacted by flight number changes on Qantas services operated by Airnorth

The following commercial policy is available to customers holding a valid 081 ticket issued on/before 1 October 2025 for scheduled departures between 13 - 17 October 2025.

1. Rebook
  • Rebook to a Airnorth (TL) marketed and operated flight on the same day with the same origin and destination as the original booking.
  • Rebook QF to TL as per below class mapping:
    Y to Y
    B to H
    H to B
    K to M
    M to L
    L to V
    V to N
    S to Q
    N to S
    Q to O
    O to G
    E to W
  • Reissue with authority 412244 in endorsement box
  • Change fee does not apply
  • Additional fare/taxes do not apply.
  • All details of the original ticket including fare basis and fare calculation to be shown on the new ticket.

Qantas NDC Call Out

Where the flight has been affected, the agent should reshop and select an alternative flight using waiver code 412244 and waiver type 'AdcolChangeFee'. The Qantas NDC commercial policy workflow will automatically waiver the additional fare/taxes and change fee or the change fee only.

For unticketed bookings, alternate flights/routings can be rebooked subject to availability and tickets issued in accordance with fare conditions.

For customers with a Qantas Points Plus Pay bookings:

Qantas Points Plus Pay Bookings are entitled to the same options and conditions as listed above.

For customers on Frequent Flyer Classic Reward Tickets:

Qantas Classic Flight Reward tickets cannot be retained in credit. They can be changed or refunded. This must be done via Contact Centres.
