Update to schedule change process
To support smoother servicing for you and your customers, we’re updating the NDC schedule change process with improved automation and servicing consistency.

Key changes:
Automated rebooking options
Qantas now automatically applies the Qantas schedule change policy to NDC bookings impacted by a schedule change. This means if you need to book your customer on an alternative flight, Qantas will provide free options on flights within the policy, which will be automatically presented when you re-shop
Time limit for involuntary changes
A time limit now applies to involuntary changes to NDC bookings after a schedule change. You have up to 10 days to rebook your customer to alternative flights if your customer is not satisfied with their new flight.
If you do not process the involuntary change within this time limit normal charges and fees will apply unless you:
- Obtain an authority code via the QAC site
- Follow the commercial waiver workflow to process a free change within the Qantas Schedule Change Policy
