From 1 July 2025, agents will have multiple ways to access Qantas content, including surcharge-free options and varying ticket surcharges depending on your chosen booking channel, with Premium NDC being our most comprehensive offering. Premium NDC provides agents with access to better pricing and the widest range of Qantas NDC content, with no surcharge on Qantas NDC bookings, regardless of your Technology Partner.

This new model reinforces our commitment to transforming the retailing and servicing capabilities for our agency partners and meeting the evolving needs of our shared customers.

- Agent having a commercial agreement with Qantas
- Agent adhering to Qantas’ compliance framework and Standard Agency Terms and Conditions
- Agent meeting Qantas’ Minimum Servicing and Brand Requirements
Express Your Interest in Accessing Qantas Premium NDC
Agents interested in accessing Qantas Premium NDC can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by logging in and completing the EOI form.
* Surcharge amounts are correct as at 27 November 2024. Surcharges may not apply on specific routes including the Qantas and Emirates joint business routes between Australia and New Zealand, as well as between Australia/New Zealand and destinations in the UK, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Thailand, and Singapore. Subject to change. POS ROW surcharges may also be subject to government and regulatory approvals.
** Access to Premium NDC may be subject to reaching an agreement with your technology partner. Premium NDC is not available in China.
Frequently asked questions
Qantas Premium NDC provides the most extensive range of Qantas indirect content through NDC with no Qantas imposed distribution fee or surcharge, regardless of your Technology Partner.
With Premium NDC, you'll have access to more fares and better pricing for your customers than Standard NDC, including lower domestic fares vs standard NDC and all published NDC sale fares.
Access to Premium NDC will be by invitation only, ensuring participating agents uphold Qantas' standards. Invitations will be extended based on criteria, including:
- Agent having a commercial agreement with Qantas or Agent's Qantas sales performance
- Agent adhering to Qantas' compliance framework and Standard Agency Terms and Conditions
- Agent meeting Qantas' Minimum Servicing and Brand Requirements
An agent's ability to access Premium NDC may also be subject to entering into an agreement with their preferred Certified Technology Partners (GDS or otherwise).
We encourage you to reach out to your Technology Partner or GDS to understand options to access PNDC content and its benefits.
Agents interested in accessing Qantas Premium NDC can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by logging in and completing the EOI form.
Your agency's PNDC invitation will be sent from 15 May, subject to your acceptance into the channel. You'll need to log in using your email, accept the invitation from IATA, and confirm your acceptance.
Once you receive the official invite, all the details needed to get started will be provided.
You can check the PNDC invitation status by logging in as a Manager through your Qantas Agency Connect (QAC) My Agency Profile.
The status shown on the Premium NDC tab on My Agency Profile will be:
- Accepted: The invitation has been accepted by the Agency
- Active: The Agency is now part of Qantas Premium NDC
- Pending: Awaiting confirmation from your certified Technology Partner
- Rejected: Certified Technology Partner has rejected the agency to be part of the Qantas Premium NDC
- Disable: Certified Technology Partner is disabling Qantas Premium NDC Content for this agency. Agency will continue to be part of Qantas Premium NDC until disabled.
- Inactive: The agency is no longer part of Qantas Premium NDC
Qantas has been working with our Technology Partners over the past few years to ensure that your agency has the opportunity to access Qantas Premium NDC content.
If your agency is not currently accessing Qantas Premium NDC content, you and your customers will not benefit from Qantas' largest range of indirect content and may be required to pay a surcharge on bookings (depending on your choice of Technology Partner).
