How do Qantas Explorer fares work?
When booking your customer an international flight to Australia or New Zealand, Qantas Explorer# allows your customer to add flights within each country at a discounted rate. To work out where your customer can fly and the discounted rate, each available route has been divided into three zones.
Zone and carrier information
Travelling around Australia is easy with flights operated by Qantas, Jetstar and Qantaslink±. Whether your customer has dreamed of visiting Byron Bay's iconic beaches or the Red Centre's rolling dunes, you'll find a destination placed into one of three zones for your customer.
Routes found in Zone 1 offer the lowest fares for hopping between some of Australia and New Zealand's most iconic cities, beaches and landscapes. The routes in Zone 2 and Zone 3 cover greater distances to some of our most breathtaking destinations.
