Guidelines for Technology Systems Use

The following information will assist you in making QF bookings for your customer.

Observe these guidelines to ensure revenue is maximised, unnecessary costs are avoided, and all possible inventory is available for sale to our customers.

Agency Profile Requirements for NDC Access

To ensure access to Qantas NDC content, it is essential that you include your valid IATA, TIDS, or ARC number in your GDS OID/PCC profile. This identification must be present at Booking Agent level, as it is used to validate eligibility for NDC content. Without this, you'll be restricted to accessing content via the EDIFACT channel only. We recommend you review your GDS configurations and update your profile as required via the Qantas Agency Connect site to avoid disruption to NDC access.

Qantas Corporate Identifier (QCI)

It is a requirement that you include your Corporate customer's QCI code on their ticket and also add it to their booking. Please refer to your Technology Partner for any additional information regarding the inclusion of a QCI code via the Qantas Distribution Platform. Alternatively, please use the example entry formats below, replacing XYZ with your customer's QCI:

Amadeus: SK QCID QF-XYZ

Travelport - Galileo: SI.QF*QCID*XYZ

Sabre: 3OSI QF QCID.XYZ

Fictitious Names
